This brown trout fishing season can be called challenging. Initially, everything seemed rosy and promising, but in reality, things turned out differently. For some inexplicable reason, this year the brown trout were either inactive or simply entered the river in small numbers. In the most beloved and best pools, in the usual spots where this spotted predator usually hunts, there was a complete absence of them. Anglers had to constantly search for fish, devising ways to deceive them and entice them to bite. Believe it or not, entire "fly arsenal" was used to achieve only a few bites. But, it must be said, despite the small number of specimens caught, the quality was decent. Ten trout ranging in size from 65 to 69 cm, thirty-three trout from 60 to 64 cm, forty-four trout from 55 to 59 cm, and one record-breaking 74 cm!!! The rest, over 40 cm, also counted. In total, 193 brown trout and 7 salmon were caught on 12 rods. Of course, maybe we've gone a bit overboard in demanding unrealistic results from the river, but it must be said that we would have liked to feel the tension of the line more often, especially since all the weather conditions were perfect for good fishing. This includes the water temperature averaging 12°C, the excellent water level, and so on... For autumn, everything is very good, except for the slight breeze... But the northern lights have been delighting the fishermen for the last few days. Overall, the team is happy, thanks to them for their optimism and love of fishing. We're looking forward to the new team and believe in success.
