Fishing report from Sidorovka river, 04.07-11.07.2021 week.
It became really hot in tundra in the middle of July. Daytime air temperature approached +27C, water warmed up to +19C. Water level was just below average. The combination of these factors strongly affected fishing activity. The fishing became really tough.
This week we met 4 guests. 3 of them have already visited our Camp, but for one guest it was his first trip to Sidorovka river, and besides he took fly fishing rod for the first time. As is typical in fishing he caught the biggest fish of the week, 104cm. Beautiful male salmon was landed on Giant’s Avenue pool. All in all group caught 12 salmon. Perhaps, next week fishing will be more rewarding. Looking forward to meeting new guests and hope that they will be more lucky.
